Grandparents & Special Friends Day

Every year we celebrate grandparents because the Bible says to give honor to whom honor is due. Oftentimes we think of dignitaries or someone with an official title or renown, but the truth is that few people deserve more esteem or honor than a grandparent.

Grandparents have always been an important part of the family. At StoneBridge, we love to acknowledge and honor the rich spiritual heritage the grandparents in our community have bestowed on our students. Many of our students wouldn’t be here if not for their grandparents encouraging and instilling biblical values in their parents.

We are often reminded of the Apostle Paul’s words about how Timothy’s faith was instilled in him through his mother and grandmother. This was their legacy, and it’s the legacy represented in so many of the grandparents in our community.

We choose to honor you because we understand how much your faithfulness and sacrificial love is an integral part of the process of equipping and training our students to make an impact for His kingdom. Thank you!
